Bhavan’s Vidya Mandir, Girinagar, wore a festive look on Wednesday, 3 June 2026, as the school warmly welcomed its newest and youngest members to the academic year with 'Praveshanotsavam'.
The campus was beautifully decorated for the special occasion. At the entrance, the little ones were delighted to be welcomed by teachers, senior students, and a few students dressed as favourite fairy tale characters, who gently guided them onto the campus to begin their educational journey.
The event, organized to ease the transition of the tiny tots into the world of formal schooling, began with a special morning assembly. Addressing the gathering, Principal Sreejyothi N welcomed the parents and emphasized the school's commitment to nurturing young minds in a safe, supportive, and stimulating environment.
A beautifully choreographed welcome dance by the senior students followed, setting a joyful and vibrant tone for the day and delighting both the newcomers and their parents. Adding to the excitement, a vibrant photo corner titled 'My First Day at School' became the highlight of the day, capturing the priceless, smiling moments of the children as they embarked on their new journey.
